Recycle your caustic after sanitizing and cleaning

Your waste caustic, after being used for cleaning or lye peeling, can be cleaned by our CRS-M System and be reused. Up to 90% of your old caustic can be used again. As a result, caustic consumption and wastewater discharge can be reduced by using our membrane Chemical Recovery System.

Why pay for new caustic and acid then pay a municipal fee to dump the used product down the drain?

A 90% savings in caustic and acid purchases can be realized by using the ZMET CRS-M system to clean and recycle the caustic after cleaning and acid after rinsing. Combine these savings with reduced savings in municipal surcharges and the system will pay for itself in less than one year.

Compare to dumping after Caustic Wash:

CRS-M Caustic Waste Benefit
Recycle Caustic Buy More Caustic Buy Less Caustic/Acid
Reduce Sewer Discharge Pay for Sewer Discharge Sewer Fees Reduced
Reduce Sewer Treatment Neutralize before Discharge Save by Treating Less
Turnkey System Process as Wastewater Simple to Operate
Unnecessary Waste Costly to Dump Environmental Benefit

Combine membrane technology and PLC Logic to get a chemical recovery system that is simple to operate and relatively maintenance free. All membrane functions are handled by the PLC and controls. This turnkey approach makes installation easy and headache free.

Since the CRS-m system is skid-mounted, combine multiple systems together to enjoy significant cost reduction benefits. Use our Fourteen-2-Seven CO2 Neutralization System and our UF Membrane System for solids removal. The combined effects would be the lowest possible operating costs, minimized wastewater discharge, and simple, worry-free systems to process your wastewater discharge.

The CRS-M system can also be combined with our mini-evaporator that can cost-effectively remove water in order to raise the concentration of the caustic/acid to your desired level for usage.

System capabilities range from 8 gpm to over 100 gpm. Please contact us for details about specifics of your application in order to determine your system requirements.

All equipment is skid mounted, and is set-up for a turnkey installation that will provide ease of operaton and use.

A demo unit is available for testing the process for your application. Most test results can be provided at the time of the demo. Please contact us for an appointment.

Industries that would benefit from our CRS-M System are: Food Processing (i.e.-lye peelers, evaporator cleaning), Dairy Processing, Pulp Processing, Refineries, Linen Processing, Laundries and others that produce alkaline or caustic waste.
