ZM Environmental
Technologies manufactures membrane systems for removing solids.
The resulting BOD/COD reduction can be realized without the use
of costly polymer chemicals, and solids can be removed without the
inconsistency of DAF systems. A Dissolved Air Floatation system
provides solids removal through the use of polymer chemicals and
equipment that requires frequent cleaning and maintenance; while
the membrane system uses no chemicals to remove solids, and regardless
of varying amounts of effluent TSS, will always provide a consistent
TSS wastewater discharge. Removal of the suspended solids will usually
result in BOD/COD reduction.
Our skid system
uses staged Ultrafiltration membranes to remove 97% of the solids.
The "clean" water from the UF membrane then can be polished by a
RO for 100% pure water or cleaned to 95% pure by a nanofiltration
membrane. Both the RO and the NF membrane will remove 100% of dissolved
sugars, and the RO will remove 100% of salts while the NF will remove
up to 90% of salts.
Wastewater
can be cleaned and reused by combining Ultrafiltration and either
Nano or RO filtration systems that will provide pure water. Save
a substantial amount money by eliminating effluent surcharges and
eliminating chemical costs.
Recycling your wastewater will reduce or eliminate your wastewater
discharge fees and surcharges, and can reduce plant fresh water
consumption by 90%, thus resulting in substantial savings.
A demo unit is available for testing the process for your application.
Most test results can be provided at the time of the demo. Please
